Terms of Service

Last updated 9 October 2026

In short: AiR-DiaG is a free tool provided as is. It can read and change things in a vehicle, which carries real risk. You use it on vehicles you own or are allowed to work on, you follow the law, and you accept that we take no payment and give no warranty or liability. The fault-code descriptions are written by users, by hand, and may be wrong.

1. About the service

AiR-DiaG ("the service") is a vehicle-diagnostics tool made up of the AiR-DiaG adapter, this website and its server, operated by the AiR-DiaG operator ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Diagnostic results, live values and fault-code descriptions are for reference only and may be wrong.

3. Use at your own risk — no liability

Working on a vehicle can damage it. Reading data, clearing fault codes, coding, adaptations, writing data and flashing (reprogramming) a control unit can, if something goes wrong — including a dropped connection during a write — permanently damage a control unit or the vehicle. You accept this risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the service or the adapter, including damage to vehicles, control units, equipment or data, loss of use, downtime, or any direct, indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

4. Your responsibility and lawful use

You are responsible for everything done through your account and for any operation you perform or authorise, including remote access you grant to others and approvals you give at the vehicle. You must:

Protected operations (security access, writing, flashing) require approval by a person physically at the vehicle. That approval is your confirmation that the operation is authorised.

5. Community-contributed content

Fault-code descriptions and similar texts are written and submitted by users, by hand. They are shown as "unverified", are not checked by us, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. By submitting a text you confirm that the wording is your own and does not copy any third party's proprietary database or other protected material, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display and distribute it within the service. We may edit or remove contributed content.

6. Accounts

You must register with a valid e-mail address, which we confirm with a one-time code; disposable or temporary e-mail addresses are not accepted. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person. We may suspend or close accounts, for example for abuse or breach of these Terms.

7. No fees

The service is currently provided free of charge. We take no payment and sell nothing through it. This may change in the future, with notice.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will update the date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and, where applicable, the European Union, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you may have.
